LE LAS PRESENTATION

Since its very formation in 1909, LE LAS has had as its vocation solutions to problems in the most difficult communications environments. From equipment for the French naval fleet to their earliest firedamp mines, LE LAS extended development of its prototypes the most varied environments. Ocean-going transport and railways, ports and airports, chemical sites, oil or quite simply urban, energy sector, laboratories and hospitals, civil or military administrations, etc...

According to ISO 9000 certified quality procedures, the completely computerized design and production departments adapt the most recent technical contributions (like to date GSM or voice over IP) across a complete range of products. The development of shared electrical and mechanical modules allows a wide range of units both flexible adaptable at the lowest possible costs.

Here is the famous catalogue n° 701, truly a cult document in the industrial telecommunications market, very well known for the wide range of products listed in it.

The handset, whose photo is on the left, shows one of the strengths of Telephone Le Las and is a unique design highly appreciated all around the world, with a stainless steel cord capable of resisting 150 kg traction force.

Even though the range of products has been standardised, we can still find a solution to your specific problem of communication choosing one of the new Le Las products. We adapt our offerings to the needs of our customers.

"Pivoting Arm" Telephone

Here is the very strange looking telephone manufactured for the French railways (SNCF), equipped with a revolutionary handset fixed on one side in such a way that you can rotate it to have the earpiece capsule at your ear. When you release it, it will return to its original position, and you are sure not to leave it "on line".

Now, an ingenious museum piece!

The very old version on the left (1943) was replaced by the thermoplastic version. Many thousands of these telephones are in service in France.

A very wide range of products

Le Las have always been one of the more prolific manufacturers of industrial telephones.

Here are a few products dated between 1940 and 1975, when the light alloy handset was completely renewed.
